William Byron paid off on +2200 odds to win the Go Bowling at the Glen Cup Series race on Sunday, giving him his fifth series win in 2023. That’s the most he has ever won in six Cup Series seasons and the most by any Cup Series driver this year. He beat Denny Hamlin by a whopping 2.632 seconds to get the victory, leading 66 of the 90 laps overall and growing his lead on each of the last 10 laps. Hamlin kept himself in the running for the Cup Series Regular season Championship, now trailing Martin Truex Jr by 39 points going into the last race of the regular season – the Coke Zero Sugar 400.
